Wow, Woman Buys Countryside House by Selling 20 iPhones Given to Her by 20 Boyfriends

A user (Proud Xiaoba) posted a story about how her friend, Xiaoli, had asked her 20 boyfriends to get her the latest iPhone 7. 

After getting her hands on these iPhones, she proceeded to sell them to a mobile phone recycling site, Hui Shou Ba, for a whopping 115,010 yuan (S$23,571) which she used as a downpayment for a countryside house.

Getting too much attention from media

Xiaoli, after her story broke the internet headlines, claimed that her day-to-day life has been affected and she simply wished for the attention to be over.

It was also mentioned that Xiaoli’s family is not wealthy and she might be pressured into getting her parents a house. 

Some, however, speculated that this could just be a publicity stunt by Hui Shou Ba to gain the attention of the masses. The company has confirmed that they have bought 20 iPhone 7 from a female client in early October.

Shameless or legendary?

On one side, netizens were amazed at how she managed to get 20 boyfriends to give her what she wants. Some even wanted her to “teach them her skills”.

On the other hand, netizens were disgusted by her actions, with one calling her “the most shameless person”.

One thing’s for sure: if the story is true, her 20 current boyfriends won’t be happy at all. After all, only one, or maybe none, will be able to stay in the house they paid money for.
