WP MP Jamus Lim Hospitalised With Pneumonia, Volunteers To Run Meet-the-People Session

Workers’ Party MP Jamus Lim was hospitalised with pneumonia over the weekend after his blood oxygen level fell to the low 90s.

The Sengkang GRC MP disclosed his condition in a Facebook post on 12 October 2026. Mothership quoted him as saying he had developed a bad case of Influenza A, followed by “full-blown pneumonia”.

Lim had initially planned to take the remainder of the previous week off. However, he said the drop in his blood oxygen level over the weekend led to his hospital admission.

Volunteers Will Run Meet-the-People Session

Addressing Anchorvale residents, Lim said he would be unable to attend his usual constituency activities while hospitalised.

These include the meet-the-people session on the evening of 12 October, weekly house visits, estate walks and coffeeshop chats with residents.

The meet-the-people session will nevertheless go ahead as usual, with Team Sengkang volunteers stepping in.
