In the previous episode of Yeos: Black Sticky Substance…
A man decided to investigate the mysterious content of Yeo’s Chrysanthemum Drink and found strange and horrifying black substances in it.
He filmed and uploaded his findings online, then told fellow Yeo’s consumers that they should always check before they put anything in their mouth.
Or they might just never come back from the land of faeries.
Yeo’s back then responded by calling for Quality Assurance tests on the batch of drinks and found nothing wrong.
They tried looking for the man who uploaded the video but he has mysteriously disappeared.
Into thin air.
Next Episode: Yeo’s Blames Retail About Sticky Black Substance
Yesterday (26 December 2018), Yeo’s came up with a belated Christmas present for Yeo’s fans: don’t worry, it’s not our fault.
It’s retail.
They said that a concerned relative of the man who uploaded the video contacted them, and provided them with the remaining unopened packets of drinks.
Investigations into the mysterious Yeo’s packets revealed that “the packets were compressed from the top, badly dented at the top or bottom of the packets, some with cracked marks and one with a puncture at the straw-hole area.”
And this, they believed, resulted from rough handling at the retail level.
They added that they’ve produced 14,000 packets of drinks from the same batch but this was the only incident reported till now.
The man in the video has accepted their explanation, they claimed.
Manufactured Under Stringent International Quality and Food Safety Standards
Yeo’s Malaysia made sure to emphasise that their products are manufactured under strict “international quality and food safety standards”.
“Our factories are certified with HACCP Food Safety management systems and all stages of our production processes are subject to rigorous quality control procedures.
“We are confident of our food manufacturing and handling standards and we welcome regulators to inspect our production facilities at any time.
“We truly value consumer feedback as product quality and consumer safety are of utmost importance at Yeo’s.”
Check The Packaging Before Buying Next Time
Yeo’s advised customers to check the packaging of Yeo’s drinks before buying next time.
As their drinks are au naturel with no added preservatives, the packaging must be kept intact in order for the drink to remain at the highest possible quality.
They ask that should anyone have any queries, they should contact Yeo’s at 1-300-80-2828 or email them at [email protected].
All’s well that ends well. Oops, did I use a competitor’s name here?
