A series of unexpected disruptions have been observed on various social media platforms since Saturday, February 10, 2018.
The disruptions would appear to be some sort of message from an alien with tentacles for a beard, searching for an object known as the Omnitrix, normally in the possession of a certain Ben Tennyson.
The alien first appeared on the Cartoon Network Facebook page interrupting its live broadcast, saying:
“I AM VILGAX, CONQUEROR OF WORLDS. I HAVE UNDERESTIMATED THE POWER OF THE OMNITRIX! BEN TENNYSON IS A MERE CHILD AND YET IT GIVES HIM THE POWER TO CHALLENGE ME? I THINK I’LL TAKE IT FROM HIM!”
While the cause of the glitches are unknown and quite possibly the work of a mischievous individual, many viewers were still shocked by such the unprecedented disruption.
“I was surprised to see what’s happening…Vilgax looks like he means business!” said one loyal Ben 10 fan. “How can we help Ben Tennyson?”
Rumour has it in the Cartoon Network camp that Vilgax is looking for Ben and is using its many platforms to do it. They can certainly use all the help they can get. We have reached out to Cartoon Network, as their online media accounts are amongst the many affected by the glitches. The network shared the following footage with our viewers:
In the video, Ben is last seen to have been defeated by Vilgax and clearly needs help. To unite fans, different challenges will be published on the Cartoon Network Asia Facebook page every day starting from Sunday, February 11, and if fans are able to pass the challenges, all 10 of Ben’s aliens will be Omni-enhanced making them bigger, better, and stronger to help Ben in his fight against Vilgax.
