Yishun is infamous. I need not say what it’s infamous for, because that’s how infamous it is.
Now, Changi Prison has welcomed the newest addition of the Yishun Motley Crew.
Introducing: the serial flasher.
Flasher in Yishun Has Been Arrested
A flasher, whose identity has not been revealed, who was recently reported at the new Build-To-Order flats in Yishun has been arrested.
Apparently, he isn’t even a resident of Yishun.
Nee Soon GRC MP Derrick Goh has taken to Facebook to announce the good news that the flasher in the area has been arrested.
The man, who was submitting his application to become a camera, flashed many residents of the new BTO area.
The person was seen around the new BTO flats in the area, including Melody Spring, which is at the edge of the Seletar Reservoir.
It was then reported to the MP during his house visits to the new BTO area. MP Derrick then assured them that the situation had the attention of the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
The MP also informed the residents that the SPF team had worked very hard on this.
Fortunately, the man is now a jailbird.
Jailed bird.
After breaking the delightful news to the residents, many were now at ease and felt relieved. They said that they were “happy to note that the flasher had been caught,” according to the MP’s follow-up post.

Yishun’s Past
Surprisingly, this isn’t the first flasher Yishun has seen.
In 2016, a flasher that exposed himself in public seven times and molested a woman on the train was sentenced to 9 months imprisonment.
Budiman Shah Mohd Noorel Azman, 31 at the time, has a string of convictions regarding outrage of modesty dating back to as early as 2007.
He targetted both girls and women and was reportedly seen masturbating in public.
People, don’t play with your airplane, just go fly kite. Haiz.
According to the Institute of Mental Health, Budiman suffers from exhibitionistic disorder and has a high risk of reoffending.
With all these risks lurking around Yishun, readers, please protect yourself and your eyes.
