By now, everyone in Asia should know Song Joong Ki: his boyish look and his role in Descendants of the Sun has propelled him to international stardom, with even someone going through plastic surgeries just to look like him.
Dating Seeing Song Joong Ki is the lifelong dream of many fangirls, but it’s almost impossible to get up close to him unless you’re willing to spend days queuing for his fan meet and another thousands of dollars to travel to where he is. But well, getting to see his lookalike might not be that difficult after all.
The Internet has been buzzing with a Song Joong Ki lookalike since Insight Korea, an online media company, broke the news about a Song Joong Ki lookalike on 8 June 2016.
The news was so viral that it made the lookalike famous. Feng Ming, a twenty-four-year-old flight attendant in China Southern Airlines, looks so much like Song Joong Ki that Chinese, Korea and even Singapore news media have picked up the story and splashed his images everywhere.
On certain angles, he looks so much like Song Joong Ki that it’s hard to distinguish between Song Joong Ki and Feng Ming. Some passengers have completely mistaken him for Song Joong Ki; that is, most likely before he spoke a fluent line of Mandarin.
What’s interesting is that Song Joong Ki is going to be thirty-one years old this year—seven years older than Feng Ming.
According to Yibada English, Song Joong Ki has mentioned this on his fan page (unedited): “Anywhere in this post, you won’t find any conclusion that Feng Ming and Song Joongki resembles each other. We are asking for everyone concerned to state their opinion/s. Hope you’ll understand that this is merely just for fun. Rude comments will immediately be deleted as it is for Feng Ming’s or anyone’s right as a human.”
So, fangirls, remember: Song Joong Ki is Song Joong Ki, and Feng Ming is Feng Ming. And as for the question of whether Song Joong Ki or Feng Ming is single or not…we tried Googling, even Korea websites, but no data was available.
Maybe someone could take a flight in China Southern Airlines and update us?
