We can all agree that GPS navigator could be one of the best inventions in the world, but just like everything else, over-reliance would lead to disaster.
Take for example this GrabCar driver.
So, apparently, Twitter user Nat wanted to go to Republic Polytechnic, which is located in Woodlands. Everything is fine…until he ended up in Woodlands Checkpoint instead.

And here’s what takes the cake: the GrabCar apparently somehow managed to squeeze into the motorcycle lane.
The reason for the driver going that extra mile many miles? He was apparently following his GPS.
According to Nat, the officers then opened the exit gate for them. They then went to their office and gave their particulars before leaving the premises.
The only explanation that I can think of is that the GrabCar driver trusts his GPS so much that he refuses to even read the road signs. Trust me, the signs between cars, buses and motorcycles are so big, you can’t unsee them when you’re driving.
So here’s one tip for new drivers: GPS can only guide you. Don’t let it control you.
