Happy Monday, guys, time for the fortnightly weather update.

Has the rain been keeping you down?

If so, then hang on tight (to your brolly) coz’ it is only going to get worse.

According to an advisory released by the NEA, expect thundery showers and cooler night in the next two weeks.

Still in the wet phase of Northeast Monsoon, expect moderate to heavy thundery showers in the afternoon and evening for five to six days, though it will be short in duration.

A weak monsoon surge could develop over the South China Sea and the surrounding vicinity, bringing a few days of occasionally windy conditions with moderate rain as well as cooler temperatures to Singapore.

You can also expect moderate to heavy thundery showers in the wee hours of the morning; the struggle to get up to work will be real.

There is always a silver lining to any godforsaken situation.

While the rest of the world is experiencing wintery conditions, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, we can expect the
temperature to soar up to 33 degrees in the day.

“Where is the silver lining part?”, you may ask.

Well, once the sun sets, you can expect the temperature to dip to 23-24 degrees.

Yes, aircon temperatures!

It might not be freezing cold, but hey its better than nothing. I’d suggest a satisfying supper at a mookata joint.
