Every time you see an Instagram story boasting a bird’s eye view of the city, you know the person is at 1-Altitude. It’s just that iconic.
You might want to go visit and make one last Instagram story before the venue closes on 31 March 2022.
Shutting Down After 12 Years
1-Altitude, a bar, lounge and restaurant all in one, is officially closing down.
It has occupied the top of One Raffles Place for 12 years, and is 282m above sea level for a 360-degree view of Singapore. It has held the title of the world’s highest alfresco bar, and is one of the top nightlife spots in Singapore.
Before COVID-19 struck our shores, you could always spot renowned deejays, as well as crowds of the rich and famous. It was also an iconic place to unwind for both Singaporeans and tourists.
Despite many netizens morning the loss of their old haunt and one of the best views of Singapore, all may not be lost.
New Concept at 1-Arden
As one door closes, another one opens. 1-Altitude’s parent company, 1-Group, will be launching 1-Arden at CapitaSpring.
The only details we have about 1-Arden now is that it’ll be a brand new concept, and set to be the next iconic lifestyle food and beverage location.

Meanwhile, you can visit the other venues that 1-Group has to offer. 1-V:U might not be located up in the sky, but the rooftop day club and restaurant might be a worthy contender to fill the 1-Altitude void in your heart.
1-Group also manages the VIP club Altimate, as well as cafes like Bee’s Knees. They also offer restaurants of various cuisines from Chinese and Japanese, to Argentinan and Greek cuisine.
You can find the full list of their venues here.
