10 carparks in S’pore where free parking still exists. All drivers must know!

What’s a few dollars to drivers if you are able to pay tens of thousands for a COE? Well, its everything. Because you have already paid for a piece of paper that entitles you to a car for 10 years, paying for parking will just add on to your financial burden even more.

Don’t overlook your parking fees, because a few dollars an hour can add up to a few hundred within a month. And in a year, it can mean thousands. If you feel the same way, you’ll definitely have to know about these 10 carparks which offer free parking, either for a couple of hours or for the entire day.

You can finally stop worrying about whether you have enough in your cash card to pay for the fees, or worry about kena summon if you hiong. 

Plaza Singapura Enjoy the free 1st hour of parking anytime from 10-5.59pm from Monday to Thurs(except public holiday).

And the parking fee is only $0.32 cents per 15mins thereafter or part thereof. Trust us, this is probably the best parking rate in the entire city area.

City Square Mall Enjoy free parking for the first 1.5hr between 12-2pm on Monday to Friday(excluding PH) and it’s $1.40 for every hour subsequently.  Star Vista

The place to go if you are a fan of Japanese food. The Star Vista offers a wide array of Japanese food and we’re sure that you’ll be able to find your favourite dish there. Not only that, you’ll also get to enjoy free parking while having your lunch there.

Star Vista offers free parking from 12-3pm and $0.65 per half an hour or part thereof after 3pm.

It’s pretty reasonable given the options of food they have.

Dempsey Hill

Don’t worry, cafe lovers, we didn’t forget about you. This is one of the few places where you’re able to eat for as long as you want. You no longer need to worry about the parking fees because it is free the entire day. You can slowly enjoy your favourite cup of coffee and talk about life with your best friend as you watch the world go by.

Five and Dime Eatery

Located along River Valley Road, this is definitely a good place to unwind over the weekend after a hectic week. Their Mentaiko Pasta and Golden Lava Custard Cake is a must-try. What more, it is free parking the entire day.

Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar

You’re in the right place if you’re a fan of bread. Being recognised as one of the few bakeries that offer authentic artisan bakery experience, you can be sure that none of its food is going to disappoint. Get ready to order your favourite coffee, your favourite book on your lap and your favourite bread in hand as you watch the world go by. And yes, the parking is free the entire day.

East Coast Park

If you are a fan of nature, East Coast Park is probably the place for you then. You can enjoy free parking at Carparks B,C,D,F,G,H. In other words, it also means that you no longer have to worry about the parking fees as you spend time with your friends and family.

West Coast Park

Yes, to be fair, we need to include places in the West too. Carparks 2 and 3 have free parking the entire day,including PH. So to all Westies, start bringing your family out for a picnic!

The GrandStand

The GrandStand is also known as the former Turf City. It is now a popular place to go if you’re thinking of chilling with your friends. You can try out the famous burgers over there or explore the PasarBella, a farm’s marketParking is free daily, including PH.

Tampines IKEA

Now, if you think that IKEA only sells furniture, you’re wrong. Their food is amazingly good and it is well-liked by both the young and the old. And the good news is, parking is free for the entire day. So you can take your time to shop, and to eat.

Now, if you’re seasoned drivers, you probably won’t need us to tell you that if you’re visiting any places nearby, you could probably park your car at these places (where available) and walk to your destination. It’s going to be hot but hey, at least you don’t have to pay for it, right?
