With the school holidays around the corner, I’m sure most are excited to be making plans to relax and unwind after a hectic time studying. And one of the things we love doing is to go to the cinemas, right?

For the movie buffs out there, here are 6 movies you can expect to be showing on cinema screens during this June holidays you must watch, or you’ve wasted this holiday away.

The Angry Birds Movie

Angry Birds is a name familiar to everyone young and old, regardless of age. The popular game which has spawned many sequels is set to be coming to cinemas in Singapore as an animated flick which tells the adventures of the little red bird that is synonymous with the game that can be found on many of the smartphones we carry around with us every day.

Finding Dory

The sequel to the famous Disney movie that introduced and made us fall in love with clownfishes is set to return to our cinemas, with the story taking place after the events of the first movie. The star of Finding Dory is, as the title suggests, Dory the blue surgeon fish accompanied by Nemo on a journey to search for her family.

If you are not sick and tired of fishes and searches, this movie is a must-watch for you!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows

Are you a Doraemon fan? We are, and 90s kids will probably want to watch this for old times sake! This movie also serves as a little history lesson for those younger audiences with heartwarming moments and no lack of laughs.

The latest instalment in the hugely popular Ice Age franchise is set to hit our shores during the June school holidays and tells of the Ice Age gang and their hilarious encounters in yet another adventure. Who could forget that irritating squirrel and the way he chased after his nuts?

Warcraft: The Beginning

For gamers, Warcraft is no stranger to them and Warcraft: The Beginning is a live-action movie based on the hugely popular gaming series. The movie is a tale of the classical battle between the forces of good and evil with the civilisation of Azeroth fighting against Draenor.
