What’s worse than being friendzoned by the guy you have secretly liked for months? Being bro-zoned, of course. Even though this means that he is super comfortable hanging out with you, it also means that you are not even in his list of consideration, unless he has some pretty unique tastes of course. He’ll probably ask you to be his best man/bro at his wedding. Prevent this from happening with the tips below!

Don’t talk to him about the guys you liked/like.
This is a sure-fire way to get into the bro-zone. You just sound like you are asking for advice on your relationships with other guys, meaning, you are not interested in him at all.

Don’t be too comfortable on Snapchat.
Send those ugly selfies to your BFF, not him. You don’t want to turn him off or let him see you as a joker.

Don’t discuss girls he is interested in.
This sends the signal that you don’t mind doing so because you will never be interested in him.

Don’t go gymming with him.
He’s just going to see you as a gym partner and a bro to hang out with to keep fit.

Don’t dress like a bro.
Fine, we all have our own fashion choices. But most men are visual creatures, so they will treat a girl as a girl only if they see them as a girl.

Don’t go out for casual supper with him.
One, you will seem too easily available. Two, you will become a supper buddy instead of a potential date. Three, you will gain weight and let’s face it, being overly chubby is not going to help you more in finding love.

Don’t DOTA with him.
We get it, girls game too. However, many guys only have male gaming buddies. If you play DOTA with him, he is likely to subconsciously classify you as a bro.

Tell him.
Not straight in his face of course – that makes you seem even more like a bro. Hint to him about your intentions and interest, or he may just remain clueless.
