2 New Polyclinics Set To Open In Kaki Bukit And Tengah By 2025

Senior Minister of State for Health Lam Pin Min announced at a community even in Bukit Batok regarding the building of the Kaki Bukit Polyclinic.

At the same event, Senior Minister of State for Health Amy Khor also announced the building of the Tengah Polyclinic.

But if you’re still unconvinced that this might mean shorter waiting times, these two polyclinics are among the 10 new polyclinics that will open in the upcoming years.

Yeap there are many more coming our way.

Some of these locations include Bukit Panjang, Sembawang, Khatib, Eunos, Kallang, Tampines North, Serangoon and Yew Tee.

Located In Jalan Damai Near Kaki Bukit MRT Station

The Kaki Bukit Polyclinic will be located near Kaki Bukit MRT Station, at Jalan Damai.

It will be operated by SingHealth Polyclinics and will cater to residents in Kaki Bukit and Bedok.

What’s interesting is that it will be co-located with a nursing home, and is the third polyclinic of its kind, alongside Bukit Panjang Polyclinic and Jurong Polyclinic.

Other services you can expect include women’s and children’s health services, radiological, laboratory and pharmacy services.

Tengah Polyclinic

With so many upcoming BTOs and other housing in Tengah, it’s no surprise that Tengah will get its own polyclinic. It is part of an integrated development with public housing and a neighbourhood centre.

It will be situated at Bukit Batok Road, opposite the West Edge @ Bukit Batok housing estate.

Some of the services you can expect there include chronic disease management, childhood developmental assessment and women’s cancer screening.

Construction for the Tengah polyclinic will begin in 2021 and they are both expected to be ready by 2025.
