2 New COVID-19 Cases; 1 Linked To Wizlearn Technologies Cluster
Two more COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Singapore, bringing the national total number of people infected to 110.
One of the cases is a 33-year-old Singaporean man, known as Case 110, who has links to the Wizlearn Technologies cluster. He is currently warded in an isolation room at the National Centre for Infectious Diseases.
The other case is a 70-year-old Singaporean man, known as Case 109, who has no known links to any cluster. He is currently warded in an isolation room at the Singapore General Hospital.
Both individuals have not travelled to affected countries and regions recently.

24YO Motorcyclist Dies After Collision With Minibus
A collision with a minibus at the junction of West Coast Road and Clementi Avenue 2 at around 5.34am on Tuesday has cost the life of a 24-year-old motorcyclist.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic and the 62-year-old driver of the minibus was subsequently arrested for careless driving causing the death of the motorcyclist.
Police investigation is still ongoing.

NParks Investigating Blow Darts In Pigeons Incident
The National Parks Board’s Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) is currently investigating the incident where blow darts were found in two pigeons and is seeking any evidence from the public relating to the matter.
The incident was reported by the Animal Concerns Research and Education Society (Acres) on Facebook after reports came in from a member of the public at Block 864 Jurong West Street 81.
A police report has already been filed but it is unclear as to whether the police is currently investigating the situation.

Work-Pass Holders With Symptoms Entering Singapore May Be Subjected To Immediate Swab Test At Checkpoints
It has been announced that all work-pass holders and dependants entering Singapore who have a fever or other respiratory illness symptoms may be subjected to an immediate swab test for COVID-19 at checkpoints. This will begin on Wednesday, 4 March, 11.59pm.
For those who meet the Ministry of Health’s clinical suspect case definition, they will be transferred to the hospital directly.
The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has also said that all work-pass holders and dependants who have travelled to South Korea, northern Italy or Iran the past 14 days will have to seek approval from MOM before they can arrange plans to return to Singapore.

65YO Committed Sexual Offences On Family Friend’s 3 Young Daughters; Gets 26 Months & 8 Weeks’ Jail
A 65-year-old man who has been diagnosed with “paedophilia disorder” was sentenced to 26 months and eight weeks’ jail after he pleaded guilty to two molestation charges and one count of committing an indecent act on a child. He was previously sentenced to 10 months’ jail and three strokes of the cane in 1999 when he molested one of his seven-year-old pupils in his home in 1996.
His wife ran a playhouse in Bedok and conducted enrichment programmes for children. He often helped out with the activities. Between 2003 and 2004, a mother of three girls noticed that one of her daughters had learning difficulties, so she enrolled them all in this programme.
The man took advantage of the situation and took one of the girls to his home after classes ended some time between 2004 and 2006, and groped her chest. She was between eight and 10 years old at that time.
He then targeted her younger sister between seven and nine years old and pushed her hands into his trousers and told her to touch his private parts.
Between 2007 and 2008, he molested the youngest of the three who was only about seven years old.
