Former Singapore Idol Contestant, Samantha Lee died on Sunday and the news was confirmed through a Facebook message on her page that read, “Samantha has passed. You’re invited to come for her last performance, 23 December 2019.”

Just a few hours earlier, she uploaded a post on Facebook with a long message about depression.

8 Singaporeans Make It To Bloomberg Billionaires List, 2 Are From Haidilao

Eight Singaporeans have made it to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index which was released on Tuesday. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index is a daily ranking of the world’s richest people.

Two of them are co-founders of Haidilao, Zhang Yong and Shu Ping. Haidilao is China’s biggest chain of hotpot restaurants.

3 Elderly Women Injured In Escalator Incident At Northpoint City mall

Three elderly women in their 60s and 70s were involved in an escalator incident at Northpoint City. They fell while they were on the escalator, and reports stated that it was due to the escalator breaking down.

The sudden break down allegedly caused them to lose their balance and fall. They sustained head injuries, which were said to be minor and were subsequently brought to Khoo Tech Puat Hospital.

Two 14-year-old Boys Caught On Fire After Trying To Refill Lighters Themselves

Two 14-year-old teenage boys were trying to refill their lighters on their own with cans of butane when the liquid caught on fire. In turn, their shirts were also set on fire.

They pulled their shirts off and ran to get help before a domestic helper poured water on them. They were subsequently brought to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital for treatment.
