Girls can be strong headed, tough and independent. But let’s admit it, there is sometimes a girl needs a guy, just like how guys need girls.

When a girl is sick
Guys, when a girl is sick, she’s not only physically weak but also emotionally weak. If she has the flu, she needs someone to bring her panadol and for someone to show his love. Or just give her a blanket to roll about in. By hugging her it shows her that at least someone isn’t afraid to be infected with influenza.
When a girl is lonely
When a girl is lonely, what she needs is just someone to talk to, or someone beside her, just so she won’t appear alone. It might be because, at that moment, her friends aren’t there for her. Guys, here is where you step in. But be careful, if she really, really wants some time alone and has made that clear, give her space.
When a girl is sad
When a girl is sad, even if it’s because of you, she would want someone’s shoulder to cry and lean on. She might want someone to console her, to tell her whatever that is happening now, all the challenges she is facing are just temporary. Even if you’re the cause of the sadness, it doesn’t hurt to provide her with the comfort.
When a girl is surprised
When a girl is pleasantly surprised, she would want anyone to share the good news with, and having a favourite guy around would do the trick. Be it a small or large surprise, having someone to listen to her rave about her happiness shows her need to share it with someone who can appreciate her achievements.

Obviously, the typical scene in many, many dramas, when a girl is scared, she would cling on, or even hug the guy she likes. This is when the guy should express their ability to protect and comfort the girl.

During pregnancy and labour, the girl is in extreme pain and stress. Especially in a hospital setting, where things are unfamiliar, it doesn’t hurt to have a guy by her side, to comfort and support her in this milestone of her life.
