6 ridiculously delicious McDonald’s food combinations that taste surprisingly good

Last Updated on 2017-07-18 , 12:50 pm

Dipping McDonald’s fries into ice-cream? Well, been there, done that and way over it.

Or have you tried mixing mayonnaise and McDonald’s garlic chili as a dipping sauce for your fries? Well, done it too.

These days, having McDonald’s is like a secondary meal to us because the stores are always so widely available. And with them coming up with newer (and sometimes weirder) creations like Salted-Egg Yolk Burgers and Salted & Pepper Crab flavored fries, we had to come up with something of our own too.

And yes, we have tried and tasted them (well, most of them anyway) and they were pretty legit.

For those who have not tried McDonald’s Sweet & Sour sauce before, you are definitely missing out on something great. These wickedly delicious dips are perfect for your chicken nuggets and fries, but we have upped the ante and introduced our very own rendition of sweet & sour fish in a burger. You are welcome.

Curry sauce with anything, and everything.

Before McDonald’s charged their curry sauce at S$0.30 per packet, it used to be our number 1 experimental dip and we realized that there is nothing that can’t go with their curry sauce. Nothing at all. You can probably pour it into your drink and it’ll still taste good – ok, but seriously, please don’t try that.

And that’s how you get your very own McDonald’s bubble tea. A good idea when you feel like switching up your tea during breakfast, or when you have leftover maple syrup from your hotcakes.

My colleagues thought that I was joking when I suggested this, but I have a 95% vibe that this would actually work out well – yes I haven’t actually tried. But hey, hashbrown does go well with everything, right? And the amalgamation of such sweet and salty flavors does sound interesting.

Salt & Pepper with Corn Cup

Forget butter corn. That’s just too mainstream and you can get that almost everywhere. Salt & pepper corn WITH butter, on the other hand, is a quite a unique flavor that we are digging.

Yup, you get the gist. All you have to do is to first mix the curry and garlic chili sauce together, then use it as a dip for your McWings. Possibly another option for buffalo wings? Who knows, it might taste even better.
