I love fried oyster omelette. The kind that is crispy on the edges, almost close to being burnt and filled with delicious plump oysters – I am salivating now.
And writing this made me crave for oyster omelette, in which I’d probably head down one of these stalls to satisfy my craving. Before I bore you any further, here are my top 10 oyster omelettes stalls.
Geylang Lor 29 Fried Hokkien Mee
With the increasing number of oyster omelette stalls popping up, one unique thing about this stall is that it still uses traditional methods to cook their omelette. Oysters here are shipped directly from Korea and exudes an umami flavor upon biting.

85 Bedok North Fried Oyster
With thick gravy chilli sauce topped all over the oyster omelette, the oysters were soft and chewy. Plastered with numerous local newspapers, I’m not surprised why this stall is constantly flooded with customers.
But if you’re planning to head down there, we’ll give you a heads up and say that you might have to wait a little while.

Katong Keah Kee Fried Oysters
For me, my favourite kind of oysters would be fluffy and deep fried, with little-burnt crisp along the edges of the eggs. And this stall does just that.
Not to mention the store owner mixes his own chilli paste so you can be sure the oyster omelette is 100 percent authentic.

Ah Chuan Fried Oyster Omelette
Featured by Makansutra as one of the hawker legends, this moist and crispy omelette is beyond impressive. With a more watery chilli sauce, the oyster is also fried to perfection.

Located right smack in the heart of Chomp Chomp, there’s no need for an introduction. With a gooey center and crispy edges, this omelette paired together with their spicy chilli will leave you asking for second helpings!

Lim’s Fried Oyster
With a choice of either indulging in a wet or dry oyster omelette, this store simply leaves you spoilt for choices. The dry one tastes fluffier and slightly charred, while the wet version has a much smoother consistency. For a price of $4, what are you waiting for?

Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine
Priced at $14, don’t let the price set you off. The portion is enough to be shared among a few people. And since it is a Teochew restaurant, you can be sure that the oyster omelette is definitely authentic!
Fried until a gooey texture and plump oysters, grab your friends and head down here now! Trust us, you will not be disappointed.

If you’re looking for a healthier alternative to the high-calorie oyster omelette, look no further! With no charred bits, the omelette has a much smoother texture and less oily. I love how the oysters managed to retain its moisture too!
