Fans of Running Man who have followed the game-variety show since the beginning would have known about Lizzy. Yep, I’m talking about Lizzy from After School and Orange Caramel. Besides being known as a cute and bubbly girl, here are a few facts that you may not know about the talented singer and actress.
She Was Once A Cast Member In Running Man
In the first few episodes of Running Man, she was invited to be a cast member when the show has just begun to air. She was also involved in acting, being a supporting character on MBC’s sitcom, All My Love. However, as she often got edited out in Running Man, she decided to leave and focused on All My Love instead.
According to allkpop.com, during an interview where she was invited as a guest, Lizzy mentioned that she was depressed from the news with regards to her leaving Running Man as rumours surfaced saying that she was a long term guest instead.
She felt hurt from the responses because she felt she had done pretty well to be invited to be a permanent cast member.
People Thought She Was Anorexic
In October 2015, photos of After School’s Lizzy were uploaded with her smiling and waving at the camera. Fans of hers were shocked and concerned as she appeared to be bony and lost quite an amount of weight. Comments came in, encouraging her to eat more and to stay healthy. She appeared to have a healthy body a few months before, thus the shocking revelation.
She’s Physically Sensitive
According to onehallyu.com, an interviewer interviewed the three members of Orange Caramel. When they were asked who was the most sensitive personality-wise, they misunderstood and said that Lizzy was the most physically sensitive. Among the trio, she’s the most ticklish.
Promoting Solo Is Not Her Thing
On January 2015, Lizzy debuted as a solo singer from her girl group After School and Orange Caramel. During a Sugar Man broadcast, her group member, Raina and she got invited as guests where they were asked how it was like to perform together and alone.
Raina mentioned that going solo had actually made her earn more profits while Lizzy said with a touch of humour that she recently checked her bank account and realised she went into debt instead. She laughed it off and casually said that she should probably promote as a group from now on instead.
She Was Just 19 When She Joined After School
She joined the girl group, After School, in March 2010 when she was just 19 years old. Look how much she has achieved so far!
She Had Plastic Surgery And Openly Confessed About It
According to plasticsurgeryhits.com, Lizzy openly confessed about undergoing double eyelid surgery to have bigger eyes. She was born with small eyes which are common in South Korean people. Later on, she also confessed and confirmed the rumours of going under the knife to get a nose job as well.
She Knows How To Tap Dance
The multi-talented female is not only an actress but a singer as well. During her performances with the girl band, After School, they learnt how to tap dance in preparation of their song “Let’s Step Up”.
She Wasn’t Always At The Front Of Attention
