Chipotle has confirmed that its first Singapore restaurant will open at Jewel Changi Airport in 2027, marking the American chain’s debut in South-east Asia.
The outlet will occupy unit #02-200 on Level 2, CNA Lifestyle reported. Its menu will include customisable burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas and salads.
Opening Date Still To Come
As of 1 November 2026, an exact opening date has not been announced. Further details about the menu and launch activities will be shared closer to the opening, Mothership reported, citing Chipotle Singapore’s media release.
For anyone who remembers an earlier announcement about Chipotle arriving in 2026, the timeline has changed.
When the company announced its Asian expansion in September 2025, it planned to open restaurants in both Singapore and South Korea in 2026.
In a 2 September 2026 announcement, Chipotle pushed Singapore’s first restaurant to 2027. The latest Jewel news gives that planned arrival a location.
Singapore Follows Its South Korean Launch
Chipotle opened its first Asian restaurant on Gangnam-daero in Seoul on 2 September 2026. A second South Korean outlet followed on 28 October at Sweet Park in Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam.
The company has described South Korea as a model for its wider expansion across Asia.
Its Singapore and South Korean operations will be managed by S&C Restaurants Holdings, a joint venture between Chipotle and Big Bite Company. Big Bite is affiliated with South Korean food company Sangmidang Holdings, formerly known as SPC Group.
CNA Lifestyle reported that Sangmidang is also behind Shake Shack and Paris Baguette in Singapore.
