Alcohol-flavoured ice-cream isn’t exactly a novelty. After all, Bailey’s Ice Cream has existed for centuries and people are still not getting enough of it.

“It’s like an addiction, you know,” said one IDoNotDrinkAndISayTheTruth00“They are both sinful in their own ways, which is probably why they gel together so well.”

Well, two wrongs do not make a right but two sins (food-wise) might yet make a strike.

But that’s alcohol-flavoured ice-cream.

Beer-flavoured ice-cream, on the other hand, was virtually non-existent…

Until now.

Yes, folks. You can now have the popsicle version of a lava cake…

Though instead of the classic molten chocolate or cheese ooze, you get a (dis)honest to goodness…

Beer ooze.

Apparently, there are beer-flavoured popsicles over in China…

And if rumours are true, they pop in your mouth. Quite literally.

According to MothershipSingapore-based company Happy Ice will be bringing the German Black Beer ice-cream over to local shores.

And it seems that the ice cream has been designed to ‘shape’ the talk too.

Well, there’s no disputing the popsicle’s true identity now.

Beer Lava Center

According to Happy Ice’s Facebook page, the ice cream is essentially rye-flavoured and possesses bits and pieces of rye grain.

The ice cream is said to have both chocolate and black beer coating.

The defining part, however, has definitely got to be the beer lava oozing from the centre of the ice-cream.

I’m admittedly no beer lover myself, but damn;

That’s one ice-cream I will definitely pay to try.

For the record, the ice cream contains one per cent volume of alcohol, so no worries about getting drunk with a popsicle stick in your mouth.

As for all the seasoned alcoholics, you might need to have more to get your content’s worth.

Just be warned that by the end of it, you might get a little something on top of a ‘beer-induced’ high feeling:

Epic sugar crash, some would call it.

And So… What’re You Waiting For?

If you’re a big fan of beer, popsicles or both, there’s really no question about it;

It’s high time that you pop out to get one.

Incidentally, a pack of three costs $12.90.

According to Mothership, the ice-cream flavour will be available exclusively at Sheng Siong outlets from 13 July. Alternatively, one can also choose to pre-order from Happy Ice via its website. Though no matter which route you choose…

I’m sure the result will be equally… rewarding in a sense.

Lest you’ve forgotten, polling day will be on this Friday (10 July). So what happens if you didn’t vote? Would you be jailed? Would you be barred from buying bubble tea for the next five years? Watch this video and you’ll know the consequences:
