A lot of fun has been taken out of our lives this year.
We are in desperate need for local activities happening before 10.30pm to fill up our free time – time we used to gladly spend on being stuck in traffic on the causeway to go makan in JB, or curing hangovers after a crazy night out.
There are these heritage trails, except some of us here aren’t big fans of walking. Instead, we look to other modes of transportation – cycling.
GoCycling Outlets
GoCycling has previously set up shop at these locations:
-
- East Coast Park carpark C4
- West Coast Park carpark 2
- Changi Beach carpark C1
- Punggol Jetty (Coney Island)
- Punggol Park
But that’s old news. You probably explore these bike trails until sien already.
If so, GoCycling’s new outlet at Jurong Lake Gardens should be a welcome addition for you where you can now explore the revamped garden on two wheels instead of two feet!

Price and Ongoing Promo
The rental is priced at an affordable $8 per hour for adults; $6 per hour for kids.
Currently, an ongoing promotion will grant you a free second hour on weekdays and free third hour on weekends.
The free hours are not applicable on public holidays. It’s unclear when the promo will end, so better grab it while you can.
Other services include overnight rentals, all-day rentals and child bikes.
Explore Jurong Lake Gardens
The outlet is located across the Chinese Garden MRT. After picking up your bike, cycle across Boon Lay Way – use the traffic light and be safe – before pedalling to the Jurong Lake Gardens.
On your bike, you can easily access the Grassland, Neram Streams and the Southern Promenade on the southern side of the gardens.
Up north, explore attractions like Clusia Cove, PAssion WaVe and Forest Ramble.
Be sure not to miss the replica of the Punggol Tree here too.
Cycling Routes
GoCycling recommends three more cycling routes that begin at the newest outlet.
Simply put down a $50 refundable deposit and you can return your bike at any outlet near the end of your route.
You can take the Western Adventure Loop and end your ride at West Coast Park, where a GoCycling outlet is stationed.
If you stay in the west, it’s a convenient way for you to explore while simultaneously travelling home.
Opened in 2019, the relatively new and challenging Coast2Coast trail stretches along Jurong Lake Gardens to Coney Island Park. You can drop off your bike at GoCycling @ Punggol Jetty.
Lastly, there’s the Half Round-Island route for those with more superior stamina to show off. Return your bike at GoCycling @ Changi Beach Park C1 with a victorious smile – you earned it.
