BMW Driver Lodges Police Report, Explains His Side Of The Story

Here’s a quick refresher: BMW driver refused to pay for a full tank of fuel because he allegedly asked for only $10 worth.

The pump attendant who filled his tank told the cashier to charge him $10, and he’ll bear the cost for the remaining amount.

Thankfully, for the attendant, Caltex will not be asking him to pay the remaining amount.

The man, however, became the most hated BMW driver in recent history.

Netizens tracked him down and posted his personal details online.

Now, the driver has come forward with his side of the story.

He said that he was on his way to trade in his car, and didn’t need more fuel than necessary.

He confirmed that he has lodged a police report because he was afraid for the safety of his family.

The police confirmed that a report was filed, and the incident at Caltex Tampines was ruled to be a case of miscommunication.

The man traded in his car at an automotive nearby on Sunday.

He also claimed that the pump attendant raised his voice during the dispute and was very dismissive when offering to cover up the difference.

The man works in sales and said that this incident has affected him badly.

Here’s a question: so, for a situation like this, do the pump attendant really need to pay the $125? Download our app for an exclusive article on whether it’s legal for the pump attendant to fork out $125 for his “mistake”!

They have been testing the vehicle since Nov 2017 on a 350m route and it has safely ferried 4,000 people.

In the last quarter of 2018, the vehicle is expected to travel a 500m route and connect student halls with main academic areas.

The vehicle is expected to ferry up to 300 passengers per day, with space for a maximum of 24 people per trip.

S’porean Tutor Helped Students Cheat In O-Levels Sophisticatedly

If you hear about how this Singaporean tutor helped her students cheat in O-levels back in 2016, you’ll be like this.

Here’s what she and her accomplices did.

They hid a mobile phone and Bluetooth device under their students’ clothes. They also got their students to wear a skin-coloured earpiece.

Then, the tutor herself joined the O-level exams as a private candidate with an iPhone attached to her blouse.

Once the exam starts, she’ll connect with her accomplices via Facetime and give them a live view of the exam.

Her accomplices will then note down the questions, look for answers and call the students to feed them the answers.

Unfortunately for them, this well-planned ploy was discovered after an exam invigilator heard “unusual sounds” coming from a student, Chen Yi.

The devices were promptly discovered and the culprits found.

Tutor Tan Jia Yan, together with Zeus Education Centre’s principal Poh Yuan Nie and fellow teachers Fiona Poh Min and Feng Riwen were slapped with charges for conspiring to cheat the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).

Tan pleaded guilty to the charges while her accomplices are challenging them.

Investigations revealed that there was a contract between Poh and Dong Xin, the thirty-year-old director of the company, Nou Cheng.

This isn’t the first time that Poh was involved in helping Chinese students cheat. His 39-year-old girlfriend Wong Mee Keow pleaded guilty to lying to the police, stopping investigations into Poh for almost a decade.

Not sure about you, but this looks like a scene from Mission: Impossible.
