When it comes to generous bosses, there’s probably no one more generous than this man, Mr Savji Dholakia from India.
His Diwali Gifts are worth S$10.6 Million
In India, Diwali is a huge celebration where it is always celebrated with gift-giving, usually sweets. But not Mr Savji Dholakia, a billionaire businessman from India.
He spent S$10.6 million and bought 1,200 cars and 400 condominium units for outstanding employees he personally chose from his company.
And this isn’t the first time he did something like this.
India’s, possibly the world’s, most generous boss
Two years back, he bought 200 condominium units, 400 cars and 500 expensive jewellery for his employees.
He firmly believed that nothing is more valuable to a company than its employees. He felt it was important to show that an employee’s contribution is acknowledged and appreciated in the company.
We have exports worth [RM2.8 billion] across more than 70 countries, but nothing is more valuable than our employees. – Mr Savji Dholakia
