A Bubble Tea Shop in the Philippines Invented a Mask That Allows You to Drink While Keeping Masks On

Face masks are undeniable necessities amid the current epidemic, and for good reason.

Though they may do little to prevent the user from being infected, they do wonders in inhibiting the user’s own germs from spreading in public.

Which, in a sense, works just as well.

But here’s the thing. Indomitable and omnipotent as face masks are in the current circumstances, they come with a huge, glaring flaw.

How do we drink bubble tea in public, if we are supposed to have the masks on 24/7?

Truly, it’s a blasphemy.

Though thankfully, one that may yet be corrected by the following notion.

A Bubble Tea Shop in the Philippines Invented a Mask That Allows You to Drink While Keeping Masks On

According to MustShareNewsa bubble tea store in the Philippines has come up with mankind’s greatest invention to counteract the aforementioned problem:

A mask with an actual straw opening.

Sleek and black in nature, the mask comes with a cap that can be popped open to accommodate a straw.

And for the record, the cap can be closed again, so no worries about compromising your own (or other people’s) safety for bubble tea.

Apparently, the bubble tea store, which is called Gallontea, came up with the idea to give people a fuss-free, safe drinking experience.

Also, it probably helps a lot as a promotional offer of sorts.

Though I don’t think anybody will be minding the gimmick one bit.

Do note, however, that terms & conditions also apply in this case.

Netizens Are Stoked

A fuss-free bubble tea drinking experience is unquestionably enticing.

And it’s no wonder Netizens are so stoked over Gallontea’s revelation.

Many responded with avid enthusiasm to the news, with some going to the extent of proclaiming it as a “genius” invention.

One even cited it as a definite essential, which is kind of subjective but still rings true in a fanatical sense.

However, others expressed their doubts over the item, claiming that it could be used for other purposes like smoking.

But then again, one can’t deny the perk it brings if used correctly.

And honestly speaking, I think we could all appreciate a fuss-free drinking experience, in one way or another.

With that said, let’s all hope that the invention will come to our shores one day.

Though an improvisation on it by any of the local bubble tea chains wouldn’t sound bad too.
