On 24 Nov 2021, residents staying nearby an open-air car park in Bukit Batok got the shock of their life.
A man was found dead within a grey BMW.

39YO Man Found Dead in Car at Open-Air Car Park in Bukit Batok
According to Lianhe Wanbao, this happened on the morning of 24 Nov 2021 at about 10:40am.
The location is the open-air car park of Blk 216 Bukit Batok St 21.
A 70-year-old lady who spoke to the Chinese newspaper said she saw a man lying motionlessly within a grey BMW with the passenger car door open.
She also saw another man trying to resuscitate him but to no avail.
Another lady was seen kneeling anxiously beside the car.
Pronounced Dead At The Scene
The police were alerted to the case of unnatural death at 10:41am.
An ambulance rushed onto the scene and paramedics rushed to the car. Unfortunately, the man was beyond help and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police covered the windshield and passenger door with a white cloth when Lianhe Wanbao arrived on the scene.

A witness spotted the police removing a brown handbag and mobile phone from the vehicle.
The police do not suspect foul play based on preliminary investigations.
Police investigations into the case are ongoing.
Family Members Rushed Down To The Scene
According to Lianhe Wanbao, many family members of the man rushed down to the scene.
The wife of the deceased was also seen squatting at the void deck of the HDB while looking at the car.

Alleged Hoarder, a 72YO Man, Found Dead in His HDB Flat Alone
Previously, a 72-year-old man was found dead in his HDB flat alone. Neighbours told the media that he seems to be a “loner” and hardly have any visitors.
He was only discovered after neighbours complained of a weird stench and got authorities to enter his home.
An alleged hoarder, the man often place items he brought home along the corridor, worrying the neighbours as these items are fire hazards.
After his death, relatives could be seen clearing up the man’s home.

They refused to talk to reporters but one of them mentioned that they are currently looking for the man’s son.
