After the insanely popular “Spot the panda” image baffled over millions of people a few years ago, several new brain teasers have emerged. Or what I like to call, an optical illusion.
Like the colour of the shoe illusion that drove people apart. 3 years after the last colour war.
But nothing came close to this one. At least not in my opinion.
Not A New Optical Illusion
Well, for a start, this isn’t exactly a new brain teaser, and it has already passed its prime but it’s still as hard as the first day it came out online.
And here’s the picture that has been giving people headaches.
Have you found it? No? Then here’s an answer that you can tell your friends.
Okay, just kidding. Don’t shoot me, please.
The phone is so difficult to find that even after looking at the comments, I couldn’t find it…until I, erm, see it.
Insanely Difficult
Everyone in the office, or practically everyone I know whom I show the image to, can’t find it within the first five minutes. Or at the ten-minute mark.
Have you given up? Because once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Here’s the answer.
If you still can’t see it, you’ll need to imagine that the phone has a wallpaper that is somewhat similar to the carpet.
I’ll be more obvious by changing the colour tone of the phone for you.

See? Tricky.
So the next time you’re at the bar or awkwardly waiting for the rest of your friends to arrive with a not-so-close friend, whip out your phone and challenge him or her to find the phone.
Who knows.
It might be the girl you’re looking to know better and let me tell you, there’s nothing better than an impossible optical illusion to get the conversation going.
