Changi Airport Having Glampcation for People to Stay Overnight in IG-Worthy Tents

There are a lot of Singaporeans who miss Changi Airport.

Mostly because it was a place you had to visit before jetting off to a faraway land, but also because it was a magical place to be.

It was named the best airport in the world for eight consecutive years, after all.

If you and your family miss the smell, feel, and look of our beloved Chang Chang, you can now stay there for a night.

Changi Airport Having Glampcation for People to Stay Overnight in IG-Worthy Tents

For the first time ever, guests will be able to have a ‘glampcation’ at Changi Airport and Jewel.

In a post on Facebook, Changi Airport Group announced that they’ll be hosting various unique experiences and activities from 20 Nov.

This includes glampcations, glamping, and educational family camps.

Here are the deets. 

Glamp-cation in the Clouds

Want to spend a night under the stars but hate getting eaten alive by bugs?

For the first time ever, guests will be able to have a glampcation on the Cloud9 Piazza at Jewel where they can wake up to a gorgeous view of the majestic HSBC Rain Vortex.

Booking period: 20 November 2020 – 3 January 2021​

Venue: Jewel Changi Airport, Cloud9 Piazza, Level 5

Check-in: 7.00pm

Check-out: 10.00am next day

Amenities:

*An additional single bed will be set up if there are more than 2 pax per tent booking.

**75 min use of shower facilities per glamp-tent booking at Changi Lounge. Guests shall book slots, available on first-come, first-served basis, upon check-in. Time slots available from 1800HR to 2230HR

Glamp-cation at Shiseido Forest Valley

If you’re a nature lover and would rather be surrounded by lush greenery for your glampcation, spend the night at Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley instead!

Make sure to book your tickets early, as slots are limited.

Venue: Jewel Changi Airport, Forest Valley, L1

Check-in: 11.30pm

Check-out: 9.00am next day

*60 min use of shower facilities per glamp-tent booking at YotelAIR subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis. Time slots available: 2130H to 2230H and 2300HR to 0000HR.

Glam-picnic in the Clouds

Don’t fancy an overnight stay? What about glamping in the day?

The air-conditioned glamp tents are converted into picnic tents during the day where you can have a nice picnic in a cool garden setting.

Booking period: 20 November 2020 – 3 January 2021

Venue: Jewel Changi Airport, Cloud9 Piazza, Level 5

Slot timings:

• 11.15am – 2.15pm
• 3:00pm – 6:00pm

Each glamp tent is 4m in diameter and recommended for up to 5 people.

Add-on options such as picnic set-up, portable speakers, and card games will also be available for purchase.

‘2D1N Family Camp’ and ‘Changi Experience Studio Play + Sleepover’

If you’re planning to bring your kids along for the stayover, you might be interested in the “2D1N Family Camp” and “Changi Experience Studio Play + Sleepover”.

These experiences would be perfect for children and teens between six to 12 years old, as there’ll be an educational workshop, nursery tour, attractions, and more.

You’ll be given a tent for your sleepover, but you must bring your own sleeping bags.

Package price starts from $130 (child) and $160 (adult) for the 2D1N Family Camp, and $48 (child) and $60 (adult) for the Play + Sleepover option.
