It’s usually a good time during Lunar New Year visitations.
You get to see family members you seldom interact with and chat the day away catching up with them.
But for those who’re single or attached and unmarried, one question hits like a bullet.
“So, you got boy/girlfriend” or “you getting married or not ah?”
You can hear the collective groans all around the country upon reading this.
You probably even just want to pull your mask higher and walk away.
And if that’s the case, a certain local store may have the product for you.
You Can Buy ‘I Don’t Have a GF / BF’ or ‘Not Married Yet’ Masks for Your CNY Visits
Some of you may have heard of ‘wheniwasfour‘ or 小時候 in Chinese.
The studio markets itself on simplicity and sells pretty cute items like doormats and even a cushion the shape of a curry fish head packet.
But their latest creation is sure to tickle you a bit, with how appropriate it is to the scenario mentioned above.
We kid you not, it is literally a mask which says, “Happy new year. I have no boyfriend. I have no girlfriend.”
Now you can avoid all those pesky interrogation scenarios by wearing literal safety equipment.
Reducing virus transmissions and reducing questions asked.
The best part? There are multiple designs with various replies to common questions.
While all of them begin with a happy new year message, the followups can range from ‘not married yet’ and ‘no children yet’.
All masks are sold for S$10.90 each and are reusable for all your multi-house visiting needs.
I’m sure we all have a friend or two who need something like this, or maybe even need one ourselves!
Ways To Obtain It
You can head over to their online store over here to order their products and have free registered mail for orders over S$49.90.
Alternatively, you can head over to their physical shop at Bras Basah. It’s about six to ten minutes’ walk from Bras Basah MRT.
It opens from 12pm to 7.30pm on weekdays and till 6.30pm on Saturday. They’re not open on Sundays and public holidays.
Time to see if anyone wants a bulk order of these.
