There are two new COVID-19 cases today in Singapore.

The first patient is a 68-year-old Singaporean who has been to Jakarta from 11 February 2020 to 14 February 2020. She had her symptoms on 16 February 2020 and had gone to two doctors on 20 February 2020, 23 February 2020 and 25 February 2020. She then went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital on 27 February 2020 and was immediately isolated, and was tested positive yesterday afternoon.

She is linked to Case 94, a woman who’s linked to the RI student. Case 94, however, had her first symptoms on 11 February 2020—the day that the first patient was in Jakarta.

Now you know why you shouldn’t come to a conclusion that fastly.

In other words, there are now only 11 locally transmitted cases that have no links to previously confirmed cases yet.

78 patients have fully recovered and are discharged. 6 are in ICU, which means the condition of 1 person has improved as there were 7 people in ICU yesterday.

The conditions of the remaining patients are either stable or improving.

As of noon today, MOH has identified 3,140 close contacts who have been quarantined. Of these, 335 are currently quarantined, and 2,805 have completed their quarantine.
