It has been 12 straight days of Singapore reporting no new community cases.
As of 12pm today (24 Mar), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed 15 new cases of COVID-19 infection.
All of them are imported cases.

This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 60,236.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) said that all 15 cases have been placed on Stay-Home Notices (SHN) upon their arrivals in Singapore. Further details will be released via their press release later tonight.
437 NUS Hostel Residents Underwent Swab Tests After COVID-19 RNA Detected in Wastewater; Told to Self-Isolate
Traces of the coronavirus were found in a wastewater sample collected from the hostel block of UTown Residence at the National University of Singapore (NUS) on Monday (22 March).
NUS sent out a circular to students on Monday night (22 March) notifying them of MOH’s requirement that affected students had to undergo swab tests.
The director of the NUS’s office of safety, Dr Peck Thian Guan, noted that swabbing stations will be set up at UTown Residence on Tuesday (23 Mar).
437 students living in the 25-storey block have been tested and have been told to avoid contact with others.
Students and staff in the school were told not to visit the affected hostel block and avoid the swabbing stations.
Students already on campus were told to avoid physical contact and only leave their rooms to use the bathroom, do laundry, and receive delivery orders until their COVID-19 test results were out.

Students and staff should also continue to monitor their health by declaring their temperature through uNivUS and complying with current safe distancing measures.
128 Active Cases
There are currently 25 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and none are in the intensive care unit.
103 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
30 have passed away from complications due to the COVID-19 infection.
