Dee Kosh Addresses His Charges in a New YouTube Video; Claims Media Had Portrayed Him Wrongly

Yesterday (25 January), it was reported that Dee Kosh intended to plead guilty to the seven charges handed to him.

In a nutshell, these are his seven charges:

• Three counts of communicating with a minor under 18 to obtain their sexual services
• One of sexually exploiting a minor under 18
• Three for possessing and making obscene videos

Since the allegations started, Dee Kosh has been silent on his most active platforms: Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. Instead, he has moved on to Twitch. However, he has not spoken about the charges.

After yesterday’s report, he posted his first Instagram post after the allegations surfaced, saying that he was going to address everything in a YouTube video today.

Nevertheless, I’m sure you’re here because you don’t have nine minutes to spare, so here’s a summary of what he said that you can read in eight minutes, effectively saving you one minute.

In the video, Dee Kosh started off by denying categorically that he’s a not a pedophile. In fact, he even did some test (done by professionals) to prove that he’s not one; not sure how that works but moving on, the main question is this: why is he being known as one?

Well, he blamed the media.

Simply put, for a start, the four counts of him trying to “obtain sexual services” from minors and “sexually exploiting” a minor aren’t exactly…accurate. According to him, these are merely attempts: they eventually never took place.

He also said that he didn’t know about the laws pertaining to that.

So, let’s call these attempts “Apple”.

As for the three other charges of possessing obscene videos, they are merely…porn. Let’s call these charges “Orange”.

Media outlets linked Apple and Orange together, and people come to the conclusion that they’re all fruits, because simply put, fruits = pedophile.

However, despite that, he agreed that what he did was wrong, and was ready to face the music; he even joked about doing a video in Changi Prison.
