Man Cheated on Woman Even After She’s Donated 1 of Her Kidneys to Him

In this world, there are beautiful people like an American lady called Coleen Le, who was willing to sacrifice one of her kidneys to save her boyfriend from dying from kidney failure.

Then, there are absolute nincompoops like her boyfriend, who decided to cheat on her seven months after she literally saved his life.

I have a few other choice words for the ex-boyfriend in question, and maybe some murderous intentions, but I’ll keep it PG13 for the sake of the readers.

Without further ado, how did this entire story unfold?

It’s (Not) A Love Story

In essence, how this story became known to the world was when 30-year-old Tiktok Star Colleen Le, posted a series of videos of how she went under the knife because her then-boyfriend desperately needed a kidney transplant.

According to Le, her ex-boyfriend had been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at 17, and was on dialysis—a process to remove waste products and excess fluid from the blood—since his kidneys were functioning at less than 5% capacity.

Fearing for his life, Colleen decided to conduct an organ compatibility test which later proved that they were a match.

Colleen Le recounted the experience, saying: “I decided to get tested to see if we were a match because I didn’t want to watch him die. I was so nervous.”

Thus, out of the goodness and love in her heart, Colleen Le volunteered to donate one of her kidneys to him to ensure that he would survive.

Just a quick FYI; organ transplant donor lists are notoriously long and have varying orders of priority which means that people might have to wait years before finally getting an organ transplant operation, let alone finding a compatible match that the recipient’s body won’t reject.

Her ex-boyfriend was incredibly fortunate to meet someone as kind and wonderful as Colleen.

One could even call it god-send, or a match made in Heaven.

Except instead of feeling increasing devotion and love for Colleen, in response to her unconditional sacrifice, the successful organ transplant put their relationship under strain.

Why, the donated kidney was not enough to remove the inherent toxicity that was already dwelling in your mind?

All Downhill from Hereon

Seven months after the procedure, her ex-boyfriend informed her that he was going to attend a bachelor’s party in Vegas with his church group for the weekend.

Colleen didn’t have any concerns about the trip because she thought that he was a devoted Christian and chose to focus on studying for her finals.

However, after returning from the bachelor’s party, her ex-boyfriend ended up confessing that he cheated on her with another girl.

So much for faith, and sacred unions by blood and blessed by God, huh?

Despite his transgression, Colleen still chose to forgive him and give him a second chance after going through a lot of arguments.

But after three months, he ended the relationship, stating that, “If we are meant for each other, God will bring us back together in the end.”

Shove your holier-than-thou attitude so far up your arse your donated kidney can feel it, because you really don’t deserve the kindness and mercy that God has given you by bringing Colleen into your life.

Worst still, he even had the gall to say that “you only donated your kidney to look good”.

Yes, she compromised her own immunity system to make herself look more pleasing to the eyes of the public, when she’s bearing a scar from the surgery, when you’ve just made her realise that her sacrifice was for naught.

Yes, all of this is beneficial for her, is that it?

Then, he proceeded to block her on all the social media platforms.

Good Riddance

Thus far, her series of Tiktok clips have gained tens of millions of views, with the commenters lambasting her ex-boyfriend, as they should.

One commenter by the handle of Issa said: “Don’t worry girl, he literally cannot live without you and he has to deal with that for the rest of his life.”

Another person wrote: “He didn’t have a functioning kidney, but he had the audacity.”

Most praised her for her kindness, stating: “I wonder if he realises the seriousness of donating a kidney. You literally sacrificed your life for someone. You have a beautiful soul. [heart emoji]”

One of my favourite comments comes from missginadarling: “WE NEED A REFUND POLICY”.

Indeed, are you kidding me, what he deserves in a kick in the knees instead.

Fortunately, good deeds do bring good fortune.

Colleen Le seems to have moved on from that relationship and appears to have found herself a new beau, who will hopefully treat her the way she deserves to be treated.

It has been five years since she found out that her ex-boyfriend had cheated on her, and now she has moved on and declares that she’s living her best life.

Oftentimes, the best revenge is living well and showing it to the world, 30-second clips at a time.
