If you’re not a fan of Dee Kosh, real name Darryl Ian Koshy, you’d probably know him as the guy who reacts to cringey TikTok videos and a food expert at Food King.
But he’s more than just a YouTube and radio personality. He has his own talent agency as well with real, living talents under him.
According to reports, it seems like Koshy’s agency has seven talents under him, and three of them have spoken out regarding the allegations.
So Far, 3 Talents Under Dee Kosh Have Spoken out About the Saga
Ben Tang, Keith and Hamza Zaidi, who are under Koshy’s talents, emphasised that the relationship they have with him are “purely professional”.
It was added that they were not forced to do anything by Koshy and did not have sexual relationships with him.
The other four talents under him, Marcus Tan, Putra, Go Shi Song, Yap Xin De, have not spoken out about the saga.
Ben Tang
One of the talents, Ben Tang, expressed his disappointment with Koshy’s alleged actions despite being a good friend of his.
The influencer said he “does not condone” his actions and hopes that Dee Kosh will learn from this incident.
While he understands that people are angry and frustrated at the moment, Tang said they shouldn’t direct their hatred towards him, as netizens have been insulting him and his family, and leaving inappropriate comments.
Tang also highlighted that some of the images of him and Koshy in compromising positions were “staged” and “not forced upon him”, and that the both of them had a “strictly professional” relationship for the past five years.
Keith
Another talent, known only as Keith, says he is on the fence. He does not “support or fault” Koshy for his actions.
However, he felt that the evidence of Koshy’s wrongdoings is lacking.
Keith highlighted that his relationship with Koshy is “purely centred around business” and Koshy did not make any sexual advances on him.
As for whether Koshy is guilty or not, he only has this to say:
“I think his actions should be interpreted by the law instead.”
Hamza Zaidi
According to Coconuts, Hamza had joined Koshy’s talent agency back in 2018.
He clarified that he and Koshy have not had any sexual relationships, nor did Koshy make any sexual advances towards him.
“Everything work-related(sic) was extremely professional.”
Hamza said that he is disappointed with Koshy’s “lapses in judgement” but will continue to support him.
He also implored for netizens to spare a thought for “the boys” and to stop terrorising them online.
It was also pointed out that the allegations against Koshy has not been fully clarified, and netizens should wait for the matter to be fully clarified before doing anything else.
