The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

If you’re a Marvel fan, this is a must-watch for you.

I’m sure after you’ve watched Avengers: Endgame, you would have heard of all the other teaser Marvel movies that feature other Marvel characters.

It felt like the child in you eagerly opening a huge packet of chocolate to see more individually wrapped chocolates and you’re both pissed and curious at the same time.

The worst part was, you’re not able to eat the chocolate because only the idea of the chocolate was there.

Finally, the time has come, and we are finally able to unwrap the wrappers to enjoy the chocolate.

Underneath the first wrapper is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

In case, you’re wondering why The Falcon has Captain America’s shield. Ho Ho, you’re in for a shock if you’ve missed the grand movie – yes, I’m still talking about Avengers: Endgame.

Things have changed drastically in the marvel universe ever since so this movie is a sequel after. To understand how things, get to this point, it requires viewers to watch the grand movie first.

However, no worries if you have not. You’ll catch up – eventually.

Wanda Vision

Another one for Marvel fans but with a little twist.

When you think of Marvel shows, you’ll think of fighting and lots of action, right? You would not think of a sitcom.

Well, in this Marvel show things are going towards sitcom.

In Wanda Vision, Wanda Maximoff and Vision try to live a normal life in what look like a suburb in the 80s.

As time pass and their rose-coloured goggles fell, Wanda and Vision started to realise things are not as they seemed.

Watch how they deal with that in their reality.

Although the synopsis seemed super basic, this show is so popular that it caused an outage on Disney+ early Friday morning.

Marvel’s Hero Project

Oh, look! Another Marvel show. Clearly, Our writer is a huge fan of Marvel *hint hint*

This time, things are a little different.

Disney+ is using the hero brand to remind children that they do not need to be a grownup to be a hero in Marvel’s Hero Project.

They are encouraging children to be their hero in this heart-warming and inspiring documentary series.

What I like about this series is how they feature children with disability as well – a group of people that many other shows tend to leave out.

Watch these kids do incredible things that you could never imagine.

Pick of the Litter

I am the kind of person that sees a dog and say, “Dog!” Then proceed to stare at them with heart eyes.

My friend is the kind of person that sees a dog and say, “Dog!” Then proceed to run towards them, attempting to pet them.

No matter how deep your love for dogs is, Pick of the Litter is a favourite among dog lovers.

Aside from cute puppies, the show also features guide dogs and teaches you more about man’s best friend.

Taylor Swift Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions

Ever wondered what goes on in a music studio, specifically Taylor Swift’s music studio?

Check out Taylor Swift Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions where you can observe the process of her turning heartbreak into an album.

This studio session features her latest album, Folklore. 16 songs she created during self-isolation.

Hamilton

Broadway kids look here for Hamilton is in town.

For those of you that miss the theatre, Hamilton is the show for you.

Hamilton tells the story of America through the combination of hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway.

Imagine the founding founder of America, Alexander Hamilton dancing and rapping on stage. What a sight to see.

Hamilton was originally filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016.

Hamilton, making learning history fun.

Regardless of which show caught your eye, Disney+ is a great subscription to have. With a wide variety of shows to watch, I might even skip work to watch them all. Sorry, boss.

The question now is, which show should I start watching first?

The Disney+ subscription costs you S$11.98/month or S$119.98/year.
