In a bid to garner more users for their app, Cathay is going all out with this deal that’ll make you their fan.

From 9 November onwards, simply download the Cathay Cineplexes app and you get a 1-for-1 deal when you purchase through their app.

Well, every business is doing that: McDonald’s is providing free delivery if you use their app (not sure if still got or not lah), and Goody Feed is providing free smiles if you use our app (this one still got).

It’s the world of apps, my friend, so don’t think that it’s too good to be true.

You’ll need to use Mastercard’s Masterpass for this promotion, but that’s no problem since most of us have a Mastercard.

The best part? It’s valid even during peak hours like weekend nights!

Here are the terms and conditions:

• Promotion is valid from 9 November 2018 onwards, while stocks last.
• Promotion is only valid for those who book and purchase using Cathay Cineplexes Mobile App after signing up/logging in.
• Promotion is valid at all Cathay Cineplexes outlets.
• Promotion is only valid with Mastercard’s Masterpass.
• Promotion is on a while stocks last basis (after which the App will stop generating promo).
• Booking fee of $1.50 applies for every transaction.
• To collect your movie tickets before your movie, please proceed to the Box Office or self-service kiosk at any Cathay Cineplexes outlet.
• Not valid with other offers, privileges, promotions or voucher redemptions.
• Not valid for group/corporate bookings.
• Not valid for 3D, Hindi, Tamil, Special-Priced tickets (Including Elite Club and Ultima Seats), Movie Marathon, Platinum Movie Suites tickets and Film Festival titles.
