Don’t Say Bojio: Buy A1 Crab Noodle Bee Hoon in Supermarket & Win an iPad

Sometimes, success is about being in the right place at the right time.

What’re you on about now, you good-for-nothing siaolang writer?

Don’t dismiss me just yet, random dear reader. Sometimes treasures just randomly fall into your laps, and it’s up to you whether you want to open the chest.

So here’s the good news… the place where this treasure is can be found, like, everywhere?

No, no, this isn’t some “look around you, the real treasure was friendship all along” crap.

This is some real treasure straight from the sea.

All you need to do is just walk into any supermarket in Singapore see an innocent scene like this:

See that wobbling piece of paper sticking out there? That’s your treasure map.

With the instructions:

3 Simple Steps: Buy, Snap, WhatsApp

The treasure map ain’t containing any complicated instructions for you to go on a treasure hunt. All you need to do is just:

  1. Buy A1 Crab Flavour Rice Vermicelli at the low, low price of S$7.35 per 4x100g pack. That’s less than S$2 per packet.
  2. Snap a photo of the receipt with the name and NRIC (just the last three digits, my friend)
  3. WhatsApp photo to 9896 7924.

The promotion period lasts from 4 Oct 2019 to 29 Nov 2019, and they will announce the winner every two weeks.

But of course you’re wondering:

Really meh? This A1 crab bee hoon so good meh?

Oh yes, yes it is.

I can only tell you this gets better and better… because the flavour was so good that…

A1 Crab Flavour Was Sold On Carousell For S$7.50… Per Packet

That’s right. People were so obsessed with this flavour that before it officially came out, people were already spending big bucks on this. It went out of stock and people were forced to resort to the black secondhand market for 4 times the current price.

We’ve tried the thing ourselves, and can only say it’s legit. The soup’s thick and flavourful, with the salty-sweet flavour and a briny taste of the sea.

Lip-smacking-goodness there.

One might start to wonder if this was the secret to the Krabby Patty. Just remember that the soup’s the real treasure here, so adjust the amount of water to your desired thickness.

And So… What‘re You Waiting For?

It’s available at the price of S$7.35 per 4x100g pack. Conveniently located at your nearest NTUC outlet, that I remind you is basically all over S’pore.

Of course, don’t forget to snap a picture of the receipt with your name and NRIC (just the last 3 digit; you didn’t read the news meh?), then WhatsApp it to 9896 7924.

Now, excuse me my colleagues…I’ll have to cancel the lunch today to go for some A1 shopping at the nearest NTUC.

Or perhaps you’ll be joining me on the trip to value town eh?
