And indeed, after reading the article topic, I wasn’t just triggered. I mean… 50 free kick-ass burgers every day? 

You want free stuff, they want free stuff?

Free stuff for everybodeh.

…is certainly what seems to have gone through the minds of the folks behind Hawker QSR, a new local concept which is opening their first outlet over at Esplanade Mall #01-13E on 31 Oct 2018, 7:30 p.m.

In commemoration of their grand opening, the generous folks have offered not one, not two, but fifty free burgers a day from 1 Nov onwards.

And it’s not your average, run-of-the-mill beef burger either. The fast-food outlet, which prides itself as the 1st Asian fast food restaurant in Singapore, will be offering a different hawker food-themed burger, wrap or bun for the five days the giveaway is held on.

Yes, my fellow starry-eyed folks; the giveaway is real with this one. Signature Chili Crab Baos on the first day? Prata Wraps on the third day? Szechuan Mala burgers on the fourth day?

If you’re bemoaning the sheer distance between your place of residence and the fast food outlet, rest assured. The soon-to-be chain will be launching another two outlets by early 2019 in the central and west regions.

And apparently, the second chain, if the comment below’s to be trusted, would be opened at Kent Ridge Medical Centre level 4.

So residents living in the area, YASSSSSSS.

Tough luck to the Northerners though.

And here’s a little lightbulb notion: the “Hawker” brand is actually launched by none other than the iconic…

“NO Signboard Holdings”.

So yes, you can at the very least expect a certain quality to it.

Though for the sakes of our wallets, I’m hoping that the prices wouldn’t follow suit.
