Yo, yo. Anyone still remembers LiHO?
While some of you are excited at Gong Cha’s comeback, which we project will be very soon, LiHO has been actively supporting our athletes at the SEA Games.
Well, at least on their Facebook Page.
And no, LiHO has not come out with some energy drink. They could be feeling more patriotic because it’s, after all, a local brand.
Lest you’ve forgotten how LiHO was born, here’s a brief history of what happened just a few months back: Gong Cha’s main franchisee in Singapore said goodbye to Gong Cha and converted all Gong Cha outlets to LiHO.
There, isn’t it brief?
To add to the excitement, it is also “bickering” online with TeaLive, a Malaysian milk tea brand that kind of experienced the same beginning as LiHO, with its franchise being Chatime.
The Malaysia story is much more interesting which you can read here.
To thank Singaporeans for cheering for our athletes, LiHO has made 1 September 2017 a special day for LiHO fans: 1,500 cups of Cheese Melon Tea will be given to Singaporeans in any of their 55 outlets.
All you need to do is to show your pink IC or 11B.
Remember how TeaLive flirted—I mean, bickered—with LiHO? For that “fun”, Malaysians who are in Singapore will also get a free upgrade from medium to large size drinks because…well, fun.
Last week, in support for Team Singapore, LiHO had a giveaway for their Cheese Melon Tea as well, and it was fully redeemed by 2:26 p.m.
If you’re near any LiHO outlet tomorrow (1 September 2017), do remember to get your free drink, because…why not?
Here are the teams and conditions, and read carefully because there are a lot.
