Unless you’re old like my boss, you’d love bubble tea.
I mean, a wise man even said that it’s the best thing since sliced bread. However, just to kill joy a little, you should really limit your bubble tea intake because of this:

But when you get a free cup of bubble tea?
Because that’s what HeyTea is offering for three days.
Not bubble tea, but cheese tea.
HeyTea, The Inventor of Cheese Tea, Opens Today
This month has been a crazy month for tea lovers.
Earlier this month, Tiger Sugar opened to long queues.
And just today, HeyTea officially opened its first store outside of China.

Lest you’re not aware, HeyTea is insanely popular over in China: while there are over 100 outlets in major Chinese cities, long queues can still be found in their popular outlets.
What’s interesting is that the company prides itself on online word-of-mouth marketing instead of traditional marketing: in other words, I’m pretty sure the 1-for-1 deal that you’re going to read soon is found online (i.e. here) or through your friends.
The company has plans to expand to Singapore and Hong Kong, with Singapore being the first stop.
Today, the plan materialized as it opened in ION Orchard.
Just take a look at the queue:

(Does the queue even end?)
But hey, even if it tastes heavenly, I’m sure some of them are here for the 1-for-1 deal.

We are here to stay. 👏
This Saturday, the first HEYTEA in Singapore will open in ION ORCHARD #B4-29 at 10am! (Nov.10)
Buy 1 free 1 for the first three days😘(Nov.10-Nov.12)
Drink tea and get your special welcome gifts! (Check out our in-store poster for more details)
According to various reviews, the reason why long snaking queues are still being seen in China is due to their commitment to the ingredients: HeyTea uses quality raw ingredients and exercise quality control on its tea-leaf production. That means quality tea.
Not sure about you, but all teas taste the same to me, though #justsaying

Deserts are available too
If you’re forced to go to the store and hated tea like how Justin Bie hates Selena Goh, no worries: the store serves deserts too (they’re not part of the one-for-one deal).
They include local-flavoured ice-cream like Durian Ice-cream, Salted Egg Yolk Ice Cream and Tea King Ice-cream.
Pretty sure after your trip there, you’d have put on some weight #justsaying
