So, last month, you might have read about this awesome promotion by Manekineko, in which you’ll get to enjoy two hours of KTV in Manekineko for just $8 nett.
And the best part of this promotion? You’ll get free-flow drinks and tidbits, and in some outlets, even free-flow ice-cream.
Well, the problem is, the promotion then was from 10 April 2017 to 5 May 2017. So you thought you’ve missed out on this great opportunity to showcase your singing skills.
Fret not, because the promotion has been extended…until further notice.
In fact, I’ve always thought that the promotion has ended until I see a Facebook post about it, so to all Adele-wannabes, you’re welcome.
Known as the Golden $8 Nett promotion, you get two hours of singing between 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. I think that’s all you need to know, no?
If not, here’re the terms and conditions:
- Valid at all MANEKINEKO & K BOX outlets
- Only valid from 11 am – 6pm
- Inclusive of 2 Hour Singing Session
- Valid on weekdays Day session only, not valid on public holidays
- Not valid in conjunction with any promotions, discounts, festive packages, corporate events and / or privileges
In writing this promotion, I also found out something interesting that no one in the office knew as well (they were just as…shocked): there’s only one K-box outlet left in Singapore, which is at Lucky Chinatown. According to an article in The Straits Times, Koshidaka International brought over Kbox in early 2016 and changed the outlets into Manekineko, which has 420 outlets in Japan.
Yeah, in other words, if you think Kbox owns Manekineko, you’re wrong. Manekineko owns Kbox. It’s one heck of an interesting fact for a conversation in the coffeeshop, eh?
And so, if you’re wondering where the outlets are, here you go:
- GANSO MANEKINEKO Orchard Cineleisure
- K BOX @ Lucky Chinatown
- MANEKINEKO *SCAPE
- MANEKINEKO Bugis+
- MANEKINEKO Marina Square
- MANEKINEKO SAFRA Jurong
- MANEKINEKO SAFRA Mount Faber
- MANEKINEKO SAFRA Punggol
- MANEKINEKO SAFRA Toa Payoh
Now, it’s time to jio your friends for yet another singing session, and also impress them with your newfound information about Kbox. And that’s exactly why I used Kbox in the headline – because I bet most of you didn’t know about this, right?
(or am I that slow?)
