The incident happened at Jalan Bahar towards Lim Chu Kang Road.
There is no exact information provided, but I would assume that the driver thought that the light turned green cos the cars were moving.
I mean, even if you don’t drive, when you’re at a traffic junction scrolling your phone while waiting for the light to turn green, that’s what you’ll do too right?
Let’s say you’re at a bus stop, also scrolling your phone. When you sense people moving towards the ‘boarding area’ you’ll assume that a bus is arriving and look up right?
I’m not trying to side with the driver tho, I’m just giving my two cents.
