Sigh. I have this huge problem. No no, it’s not that I’m single, nor that I occasionally drink a little too much… I just, always run out of data towards the end of the month.
Can you imagine, booting up your Instagram to take an Insta-story of your friend doing something stupid, and you get a notification that says “you have hit your data quota for the month”? I’ve been there, so many times.
That naturally means that I am constantly on the lookout for new data plans with better deals.
And guess what I saw
That’s right. Malaysian telco RedONE has just launched in Singapore, and they are offering, what seems to be at this point of time, the lowest costing post-paid plan in town.
Just for $8/month for the basic plan, you can enjoy 3GB (4G Lite) of mobile data.
Yes, yes, I know what you’re thinking and I get it.
If you’re a crazy social media user like me, selecting the higher priced plan for more data doesn’t quite make sense. Especially if you don’t need all that extra voice call time.
Fret not, for RedONE has a solution for you.
Data For Millennial Users
They are offering “redSOCIAL”, a RedONE post-paid plan extra for all your social needs.
For an additional $18 per month, you will receive 20GB of data for these 4 social media applications:
- Skype
- Youtube.
20GB sounds a little overkill? There’s also “redSOCIAL Lite”. For $10 per month, you can enjoy 10GB of data for the same 4 social media apps.
You can do the math lah. I’m not very good at it, but even I can tell this is a crazy good deal!
And here’s something to make it even sweeter
Since RedONE hails from Malaysia, the bundles that they are offering can be used in both Singapore and Malaysia. That means…no more having to buy data plans before heading into JB, no more hunting for free WiFI, no more changing sim cards.
Life just got so much easier.
With just one sim, all your cross border mobile internet needs are completely satisfied. RedOne very aptly calls this “Data without Borders”. And oh, just in case you didn’t catch it, it’s 4G Lite.
As of now, the company is hard at work to make the product available across the country. They even have plans to make roll out the cross-border data service to other ASEAN countries. Great news for frequent flyers~
So what are you waiting for?
For more information, you can check out RedONE Singapore. I don’t know about you but cheap and cross-border? Sounds too good to be true.
Even if you’re happy with your current phone plan, no harm window shopping for the future, right?
I have so much more reason to go to JB now. And spend money. Spend the money I save on mobile plans…
(Eh boss, what about that raise? *hint hint*)
