Besides taking bae out on a movie date at Shaw Theatres, shopping for groceries at FairPrice Finest or staying wallet-friendly yet classy at Kopitiam’s new thematic food court, here are some other things you’ll want to do, or rather, eat at this mall.

The debut of new restaurants in Singapore

Self-professed foodies listen up, a couple of restaurants are set to make its debut in Singapore at this very mall.

There’s nothing quite like home-cooked food, and Mom’s Touch will remind you of just that with its hand-battered and hand-breaded Korean fried chicken.

This massively popular Korean fried chicken store from South Korea offers fried chicken and burgers at affordable prices averaging at around $8 for a set meal.

 Hayai

Hayai will bring a bite-sized piece of Japan to PLQ Mall. It’s a restaurant that specialises in Onigirazu, aka Japanese rice sandwich, because us Asians love rice, so much that we put it in our sandwiches as well! Did someone say, Oishi?

Fong Sheng Hao

If you’ve consumed so much bubble tea that your blood is probably made up of it, Fong Sheng Hao might just be able to fight your addiction.. with another addiction – milk tea.

This famous Taiwanese store selling milk tea and charcoal-grilled toast will make its debut in Singapore at Paya Lebar Quarter Mall.

It’ll also serve up plenty of other toasts like the Fong Sheng Sandwich, perfect if you just wanna grab and go.

Wursthans Switzerland

I don’t know about you, but I definitely can’t pronounce “Wursthans”. Thankfully, you won’t have to go through that ordeal when you order any of Wursthans Switzerland’s authentic Swiss sausages.

The restaurant presents an all-day dining setting, so worst-case scenario, when the waiter comes, just point at the picture of the food you want on the menu and don’t say a word.

Family-Friendly Mall

If you can’t bring bae out without the kids tagging along, don’t worry because this mall has plenty of family-friendly stores that’ll keep the whole family occupied. Some of these stores include Smigy Kid’s Indoor Play and Sing My Song Family Karaoke.

So there you have it, East side’s newest gem.

Now, set forth and venture out into the vast unknown that is PLQ Mall – on 30 August 2019.
