Picture this: you have a huge craving for Mukshidonna’s Korean Army stew, and your entire clique is totally down for it.
Grinning from ear to ear, you start to Grab for the outlet when you see someone’s hand raised up out of the corner of your eye. You glance at him, and realization dawned.
It’s your Muslim friend Syafiq, and he’s only down for halal-certified food. You’re like
You’re like…
Well, guess what? You can now eat at Mukshidonna, along with your best pal Syafiq!
Don’t worry; I’m not asking you to force Syafiq to commit religious treachery.
Mukshidonna gets halal-certified
That’s right! Mukshidonna recently got halal-certified, so you can bring Syafiq along for the ride with a peace of mind.
Tuck into that army stew, boys!
What’s Mukshidonna?
For all you army stew non-believers, you might not have heard of the great name of Mukshidonna. Well worry not; I’ll give you a quick 10-second run through of what it is.
Mukshidonna is a popular restaurant hailing from Seoul, and it’s pretty much famous for its customisable Korean Army stew and tteokbokki (Korean rice cakes).
Mouth-watering, isn’t it?
The Singaporean outlet allows you to customize your own pot with five different flavours: Cheese, Mussels, Bulgogi, Sausages and Mushroom.
After that, you can choose to add one type of noodle (ramen, udon, etc.), toppings (boiled egg, tempura, grilled dumpling, etc.) and can finish up with cheese or fried rice.
Store Locator
So far Mukshidonna only has one outlet in Singapore, and it’s located at
Market Square @ Downtown East 1 Pasir Ris Close, E!Avenue #02-324 Singapore 519599.
Opening hours: 11.30am to 10.00pm DAILY

Thoughts
I would definitely head out to try Mukshidonna’s Korean Army Stew, even if it’s for the experience itself.
Seeing how there are so many Korean restaurants in Singapore, Mukshidonna must be pretty Johnny Depp-esque to have pulled its ass out of the roots. So yeah, I reckon it warrants a try.
And with the recent halal certification, I can bring my Muslim friends for the ride too!
