S’pore-Registered Ferraris Caught Speeding in M’sia With 1 Crashing into a Ditch

Two Ferraris were allegedly speeding in Malaysia and it was recorded by a TikTok user.

This incident happened on the northbound road from Kelantan.

In the video, it shows that a red Ferrari overtook the TikTok user’s car. It was a two-lane road and all vehicles were very close to one another.

In the TikTok video, she wrote, “Double lane overtaking, fortunately, there was no car accident…”

She then drove further and saw another yellow Ferrari inside the ditch.

Another TikToker said that she believes the yellow Ferrari was just trying to avoid the road hole but unfortunately crashed into the ditch. It was also mentioned that the road conditions there are bad, with many sharp turns—hence speeding is not advised.

Nearby motorists were seen trying to get help for the yellow Ferrari.

It is unknown whether anyone was hurt from the yellow Ferrari.

Netizens commented that it Was Not The First Time Such Incidents Took Place

Many netizens brought up the fact that it was not the first time road accidents occurred there.

They felt that it was the driver’s fault for not considering the safety of themselves and others around them.

Some even felt that the drivers are “showing off” and “performing” on Malaysia expressways.

Some netizens also added that the drivers should be fined, just like how Singapore would do so if one breaks the traffic rules.

Similar Incidents in The Past

This was not the first case that Singaporeans encounter a traffic accident in Malaysia.

On 4 November 2022, a Singaporean woman was travelling along an expressway in Malaysia.

However, the car she was in skidded and rammed into a guard rail.

Ms Huang Kaiting, 25, died at the scene of the accident. The accident had occurred at KM208 of the North-South Expressway at 11.30 pm.

Alor Gajah Superintendent Arshad Abu, said that Ms Huang was in the midst of a journey from Johor Bahru to Kuala Lumpur when the accident happened.

Fortunately, the other passenger in the car, Mr Kenneth Fong Zeng Yip, 27, was not hurt. Mr Fong is also Singaporean.

The driver of the car, Mr Muhammad Hilmi Abdul Rahim, 28, who is also from Singapore, sustained leg injuries.

The tragic traffic accident is still under investigation.
