If you are looking for a meal that is wholesome, filling and healthy at the same time, then you have got to visit Toasties. The store offers DIY Sandwiches that are also halal, so there’s really something for everyone here! Think Subway, but fresher and better! There’s an outlet both in the East and West, so you won’t have to worry about traveling too far just to purchase these sandwiches!
Just like Subway, you will get to choose your choice of bread – Crunchy, Honey Oats, Oregano Parmesan and Premium, filling, vegetables and sauce. If you are caught in a dilemma and just want to make a quick decision, you can also choose from the range of ready-to-eat sandwiches that are found on the menu!
Here’s a closer look at their menu!

I opted for the Chicken Katsu Sandwich – with fried chicken cutlet (don’t worry, it wasn’t oily at all), cheese, my choice of vegetables and thousand island sauce. What I chose wasn’t exactly thaaat healthy, but it definitely tasted really good. But I mean, there’re still tons of healthy options on the menu!
After choosing your sandwich, you can also top up an additional S$2.90 for a set meal which includes Cheesy Franks or Nachos or Cheesy Wedges and a drink!
Clam Chowder (S$2.90)
Meatball Sandwich!
Other than their sandwiches, you can also opt for wraps (+ $0.40), salads (+ $1) or even their wrap pizzas (+ $4)! Their wrap pizzas comprise of the same toppings as what you’ll get in your sandwich – but on a much larger scale! Their wrap pizzas are around 9 inches if I remember correctly – the width of a normal wrap that’s laid out.
