Footage of Maid Abusing Dog Went Viral & AVA Has Stepped in

As a jaded soul who has been living in this world for 26 years, I have realised that there is a special place in hell for people who give lost tourists the wrong direction and those who abuse animals.

Aren’t we all guilty of the former? But guess what? There are some sick souls who belong to the latter.

I have no sympathy or whatsoever for anyone who abuses animals, especially cats and dogs.

They are the best thing that ever happened to us, after Taylor Swift, of course.

So with a heavy heart, let me tell you what happened to an innocent husky that was abused by a domestic worker.

What happened

A netizen, who happened to be the neighbour, uploaded a video of the said domestic worker abusing the husky on 17 Dec—handling the poor dog in a very rough manner and hitting it with a feeding tin.

The original video has been taken down at the request of the dog’s owners. But once it is on the internet, it is there forever, even after you deleted it.

According to Stomp, the caption for the original video was that the dog had been making distressing noises for almost a week.

Here is the reuploaded version:

Netizens are (finally) united

Netizens are made up of people from all walks of life and most of the time, there will always be an onslaught of polarizing opinions to any situation.

But when it comes to animals being abused, you can expect them to unite and roast the perp.

Current situation

The relevant authorities (AVA and SPCA) are investigating the alleged abuse, Channel NewsAsia reported.

“Safeguarding animal welfare is a shared responsibility. AVA will look into all public feedback on animal cruelty,” AVA said.

So if you happen to have any information on this case, please contact the authority at 1800-476-1600.

If she is found guilty, she can face a fine of up to $15,000 and 18 months in jail for a first sentence.

If it were up to me…well let’s not go there.
