Just yesterday (Feb 25), a snatch theft happened in Kelantan, Malaysia.
Channel NewsAsia reported that the incident took place along a road in Taman Limau Manis.
CCTV footage shows clearly that while a 72-year-old lady was entering her car, a man came forward and snatched her bag.
Not wanting to let go, the lady fought with him for a while, before falling head first onto the ground.
She laid motionless on the grass for several minutes.

At the same time, the man ran away in a black Proton Persona, with his accomplice waiting for him in the car, ready to drive off anytime.
After a while, the lady tried to call for help and get up from the ground, but she fell into a nearby drain instead.
Passers-by ran forward to help up out.
The two suspects were caught within just a few hours with the help of a tip-off, according to local media.
They are two brothers, aged 27 and 33.

Meanwhile, the lady was taken to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II and treated for minor head injuries.
