If you’re a non-soccer fan who’s wondering what the hell is going on, then skip this article and read the other ones in this app.
We’ve got cute ones like a boy who covered himself up in boxes to get into a lan shop or funny ones like a guy who destroyed all push-up bras because he thought it’s a fire hazard.
But if you’re a soccer fan (or someone who thinks free food is the most delicious food), stay on, because chances are you’re a Liverpool fan as it’s supposedly one of the most widely supported teams in the world despite its lack of silverware.

Even if you’re not, you should be one after their epic comeback against Barcelona in the UEFA Champion League semi-finals, whereby they scored four goals (which is exactly what they need) in the 2nd leg of the game.
This early morning, Liverpool did it again by winning the finals against fellow England club Tottenham, scoring with a second-minute penalty and a late goal.
The Reds finally won something in recent years!
In celebration of its victory, eateries in Singapore are giving free food for a day.
Now, we’re not going to judge: for one day, we’d most likely be seeing more Liverpool fans, because club loyalty can’t feed us.
Free Texas Chicken
I’m just as shocked as you are: did a fast-food chain just break its tradition and support a team in its name?
I mean, if a bank did it, it’s understandable since its name is sewn on its jersey but a fast-food restaurant?
But it doesn’t matter. Texas Chicken has suddenly posted this on their Facebook Page, offering 2-piece chicken combo worth $8.60 to all the “true fans”. I’m going to take it that true fans mean anyone who wear the Reds’ jersey even if they’re Red Devils.

I’m pretty sure they won’t ask you who’s the captain of Liverpool. If they do ask, just laugh and say you love Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen.
The promotion’s just for today, so head over now if you see your boyfriend or husband wearing some Standard Chartered thingy.
Free Mee Goreng
Live in the north? Then you need the Reds.
The red Mee Goreng.

Now, for this promo, it’s explicitly indicated that you need to wear the jersey, so make sure Standard Chartered is sewn prominently on your bae’s shirt.
Come to think of it, I realise there’s one winner for this victory.
You’ll Never Bak Chor Mee Alone
Now, remember this lest someone decided to test you: “We Are the Champions” by Queen isn’t Liverpool’s theme song because they’re seldom the champions. Liverpool’s theme song is “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.
And according to Ah Lim Jalan Tua Kang, you should not BCM alone as well

As long as you wear a Liverpool jersey, you’ll be entitled to a Bak Chor Mee . However, do note that this promotion is only valid tomorrow (3 June 2019).
For this promotion, you can walk into the restaurant alone, I think. Just wear the correct jersey.
And anyways, with such promotions, I’ve a feeling that in the near future, more eateries are going to do the same promo.
